A critical review of the article The Problem of Speaking for Animals by Jason Wyckoff, who argues that animal advocates face a special case of "the problem of speaking for others", mainly because when it comes to nonhuman animals "nearly all humans occupy a position of privilege and so nearly all speakers and their audiences will be situated in “discursively dangerous” positions."
