A few days ago the first round of NAFTA’s re-negotiations was closed with a conclusion that the further negotiations must be accelerated. In the following post we shortly discuss NAFTA’s effects on the major animal exploitation industries since it was signed. We find it important because the most severe suffering intensification element of the trade deal has been mainly neglected so far and because according to the US statements regarding their demands, the state of animals in North America can get even worse.
