A few days ago a matador was severely injured during a bullfight in Spain. Many Activists have expressed their contentment from the incident. Even outside the AR community the atmosphere among many is that he got what he deserves.
But the suffering a matador is causing during bullfights is not greater than the suffering a non-vegan is responsible for when consuming animal based products (sure the matador is also non-vegan but that is not the reason for the death cheers), and more importantly it is not about what abusers deserve, in fact it shouldn’t be about the abusers at all.

Today is Human Rights Day. As opposed to what might be the first intuition about our project, we are not human haters. In fact we discuss humans as victims in several of our materials (for the full list of our materials please click to reach the post ). Human hatred is not our motivation. We are not promoting the annihilation idea out of hate. We don’t want anything bad to happen to anyone. On the contrary, we want that all bad things never happen to anyone.

A few days ago the Colorado Supreme Court ruled unanimously that elephants do not have legal standing to challenge their captivity. This ruling, which followed a lawsuit filed by the Nonhuman Rights Project (NRP), an organization advocating for legal personhood and rights for animals (based on the legal procedure Habeas Corpus), beyond blocking the legal effort to release five African elephants from the prison in Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs and move them to an elephant sanctuary, along with previous lawsuits by the NRP that were also rejected by courts in New York, California, and Hawaii, formally and legally indicates and perpetuates speciesism.

Expectedly, the 29th climate convention, like all previous ones, has ended without a final paper stating the obvious which is the end of fossil fuels, and similar to previous climate conventions it has been a failure in all other aspects as well.
However, the world is so defective, and in such a fundamental manner, that even if animal food industry received much more attention in relation to climate change and other environmental issues, these are not necessarily good news. It is highly likely that this will make things even worse.
